Matt draws from firsthand experience in over 185 countries to craft internationally inspired music and globe-spanning narratives. As a close-up magician trained at the Magic Castle, he blends sleight of hand into his lectures, entertaining audiences around the world. For his support of the military, he was honored with the Presidential Call to Service Award by President George W. Bush. His novels include Sabotage, Good Little Marauder, and Mr. 2 (optioned by Sony Television) while his nonfiction—Sleight of Mind, The Startup Star, and others—explores paradox, innovation, and the hidden structures of thought. Sleight of Mind was named one of the “Top 10 Best Books on Philosophy of Physics of All Time” by Book Authority. His symphonic suite Braveship, a multimedia spectacular with artworks, animation, and novelization, has garnered a following in 130+ countries. Matt was educated at Stanford and the University of Pennsylvania. Outside his creative work, he is a divemaster and pilot of land and sea planes. |
